Save the Regent Theatre in Brisbane
The proposal to construct a 38-level tower on top, tries to preserve all the area shown on these photos but plans to remove the cinemas (even though there is no guarantee because the construction could damage it). What is the purpose of having such an entrance for decoration purposes only? In other words, we'll keep your looks but steal your soul. For the latest news on this disgraceful project go to save the regent

Traffic Signal Boxes. In Brisbane you will find art in every corner.
Lord Mayor Campbell Newman said the artists behind Brisbane’s well-known traffic signal boxes deserved recognition for their efforts to enhance traffic zones by colouring the city’s streets with public art.
"Judges had to choose their favourite designs from the 119 Council traffic signal boxes that were painted across Brisbane this year," Cr Newman said.
Here are the most popular (not only painted this year).

North Bank a glimpse of the future
This project is going to be fantastic! Can't wait for it to be finalised (but that could be a long time). Work on the project will start next year and it will proceed in three stages, with the first being ready by 2011 and the entire project being finished by 2019.
Update: There are revising this project again, because it takes 70-80m of the river.
